A new sewing centre for women has been opened at village Bazak district Bathinda by the district administration with the support of BCL Industries Limited. It was inaugurated on February 27, 2025 by Mr. Rajinder Mittal, Managing Director of Mittal Group. It is worth mentioning that earlier a sewing centre was also opened at village Sivian with the support of the administration and Mittal Group. This is the second specialized sewing centre of the district.

BCL Industries Limited taking forward its commitment towards a cleaner and greener Bathinda has supported the plantation in Guru Nanak sacred forest in 2.75 acres of land adjacent to its Bathinda distillery unit. This largest forest in Punjab has been planted with the support of Eco Sikh organization, in which more than 26 thousand plants of a total of 41 types have been planted. There are half a dozen plants which have been planted for the first time in Punjab, which can be used as a seed bank in future. This forest was inaugurated by Rajinder Mittal, Managing Director of BCL Industries Limited in September 2023 and as on May 2024 the whole area is now covered with greenery. In its pursuit to contribute to the society, BCL Industries Limited through its CSR arm, is constructing a patients shelter home near All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bathinda to provide subsidized accommodation to the patients and their relatives coming from far off places to reside there during their treatment at AIIMS.

In its pursuit of inclusive development, BCL Industries Limited constructed 51 houses in Odiya Colony, Bathinda, providing residential assistance to economically weaker sections and homeless families.

Company through its charitable trust, M/s. Dwarka Dass Mittal charitable trust runs Rama Devi Diagnostics Centre inside Mahavir Dal Hospital, Bathinda. The facilities available at the Diagnostic Centre are: Medicine Shop, Diagnostic Lab, X-ray machine, Echo facility, ECG and a fully functional OT with 08 Rooms to house the patients. The medicines that are made available at the Medicine shop are at highly subsidized rates. For all other facilities like consultation fee, echo, x-ray, lab tests, etc., the charges are quite nominal and within the reach of weaker section of our society. Funds are made available at regular intervals to upgrade the existing facilities, so as to provide the latest in health services to the society.

The Company through its associated charitable trust DD Mittal trust has constructed a Dharamshala at Salasar Balaji Dhaam (a famous religious destination in Rajasthan). The Dharamshala offers accommodation facilities to the pilgrims coming to this place at very subsidized rates.

Company in association with Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda, has set up the AICTE Idea Lab at its Bathinda Campus. Through this collaboration, students will have the opportunity to engage, explore, experience, express, and excel in their pursuit of knowledge and innovation. The lab will serve as a dynamic platform for nurturing creativity, problem-solving skills, and real-world application of theoretical concepts, empowering the students.

Company donated state-of-the-art dialysis machines to the Civil Hospital of Bathinda. The primary objective behind this donation is to extend a helping hand to marginalised individuals who are facing the challenges of reduced kidney function. By providing access to advanced medical equipment and quality care, we aim to enhance the lives of those in need and contribute to their well-being.

The provision of public toilets is crucial urban infrastructure that reinforces the fundamental human right to sanitation, extending beyond the boundaries of households. As many individuals often spend a significant portion of their time outside their homes or in unconventional living arrangements, ensuring access to hygienic facilities becomes paramount. As part of our efforts to address this need, we have actively contributed to the construction of public toilets. By supporting these initiatives, we strive to promote dignity, hygiene, and improved quality of life for all members of the community.

Taking forward Company's philosophy to make available better education and healthcare facilities to the under privileged, the Company through its subsidiary M/s Svaksha Distillery Limited has made monetary contribution towards establishment of a world class badminton court in association with a Kolkata based NGO which is working towards the upliftment of the sports.
